| Pediatric Emergency Medicine Certification Examination Description | | The Pediatric Emergency Medicine subspecialty certification examination is a comprehensive written examination covering the breadth of the field of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. It is a multiple-choice examination approximately four and one half (4 1/2) hours in length. The American Board of Pediatrics administers it every other year in four cities in the U.S.
All test questions are developed and reviewed by the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Subboard.
