Sign in to the EM Initial Certification Page and complete the online application form

Important! Current year graduates do not need a medical license to apply for certification.
April 15 – July 1 Submit the completed application with the $420 application fee

July 2 – August 3

Submit the completed application with the $575 application fee

August 4 – October 1 Submit the completed application with the $1,295 application fee
Starting mid-July ABEM verifies credentials and approves applications

Important!  Physicians must have an approved application on file to register for the Qualifying Examination
