In an effort to increase career opportunities for ABEM-certified physicians, ABEM and the American Board of Preventive Medicine have approved a combined fellowship training program in Addiction Medicine and Medical Toxicology. The combined training fellowship takes 2.5 years, which shortens total training time by six months. The program requirements and application are now available here. The application must be submitted to both ABEM and the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
