In 2024, a new attestation form was piloted in an effort to provide ABEM with greater clarity about the degree to which a resident has achieved specific competencies expected to meet eligibility requirements for ABEM certification.
The updated form will be distributed in May 2025 to program directors to complete for graduating residents.
