Medical Toxicology - LLSA Test Description
A new Medical Toxicology LLSA test is posted on the ABEM website on June 1 of each odd-numbered year. Self assessment tests are available online for four years, based on the date of publication.
Each LLSA test consists of 20 to 30 single-best answer, multiple-choice questions. The questions are based on a selected set of readings that represent a portion of the current knowledge base for the practice of Medical Toxicology as presented in The Core Content of Medical Toxicology.
Registration for LLSA tests and the LLSA test administration is available online. A passing score is achieved by answering 85% of the items correctly. Once registered for an LLSA test, diplomates have three opportunities to pass it. If necessary, a diplomate may register again and pay the test fee for additional opportunities to pass a test.
