ABEM Foundation Directors
Call for Applications
Deadline: Friday, April 17, 2026.
The ABEM Foundation is accepting applications for two ABEM volunteers and/or Senior Directors and one public member to serve on its Board of Directors, with terms beginning June 2026. The Foundation encourages individuals with diverse skills and experiences who are interested in helping shape its future direction to apply.
If you are interested in serving on the ABEM Foundation Board of Directors, please submit the following:
- An application form
- A statement of interest
- A short bio or resume/CV (no more than five pages)
- A professional photo
Background and Experiences
Applicants should bring experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Nonprofit leadership and management, particularly within the health care environment.
- Partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
- Committee service or organizational project leadership.
- Community outreach and advocacy aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
Expectations
Foundation Directors are expected to:
- Support and advance the Foundation’s mission.
- Contribute perspectives and participate in strategic discussions.
- Think strategically and exercise sound judgement.
- Work collaboratively to achieve shared goals and decisions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive excellence.
Attend the virtual ABEM Foundation Board of Directors Annual Meeting from 1:00-2:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 4, 2026.
