Key Advances

Each MyEMCert module will include a section of questions based on key advances in the practice of Emergency Medicine. They include clinical policy alerts, practice advances, and suggestions from the literature.

Though items on key advances will be included in each module, they will not necessarily share the same topic as the module. As key advances are incorporated into clinical practice, ABEM will move this content into the core knowledge section of MyEMCert modules.

Key Advances

  • Facilitate learning
  • Amplify medical discoveries so you can use them to improve patient care
  • Leverage the most popular aspects of the current LLSA tests
  • Highlight some of the most clinically relevant emerging literature

Current Key Advances Synopses & Learning Resources

To prepare for taking MyEMCert modules please review all available Key Advance synopses, as questions in the Key Advance section of your module may be pulled from any current Key Advance provided by ABEM.
