What is NCC?

The medical specialty of Neurocritical Care is devoted to the comprehensive, multisystem care of the critically ill patient with neurological diseases and conditions.

Certification Process

You can apply for Neurocritical Care certification using the link below. Please note that the link will only be active during an open application cycle.

Application Form

Once your application is submitted and reviewed, ABEM will forward your examination authorization to ABPN. The ABPN will contact you with instructions on scheduling your exam appointment.

Information about exam scoring is available on the ABPN website.

Exam results are released by the ABPN to ABEM, who then sends candidates the results of their examination via email. Results are also posted on a physician’s MyABEM portal.
