ABEM MyEMCert Modules Launching March 31

The wait is almost over! The first three MyEMCert modules will be available starting March 31.

 Abdominopelvic
 Abnormal Vital Signs and Shock
 Trauma and Bleeding

Three additional modules will be available in summer 2021.

ABEM is introducing this new way to stay certified, designed with the uniqueness of Emergency Medicine in mind, and informed by the preferences of ABEM-certified physicians.

ABEM-certified physicians can use the  ABEM Reqs tool to learn how MyEMCert affects you, and when you should plan to take modules.


Core elements of MyEMCert include: 

Topic-specific modules that incorporate the “bread-and-butter” issues of Emergency Medicine

Open-book format that can be completed anywhere, anytime; however, you must take modules by yourself

Immediate feedback providing scores, correct answers, and rationales

Encompasses learning with options to immediately retake a module if you do not pass on the first attempt

Content that keeps you informed about key advances in the specialty
