ABEM President Marianne Gausche-Hill, M.D., was recently awarded the Lundquist Institute’s Legends Award, that organization’s highest honor. It recognizes researchers at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center for their groundbreaking discoveries and commitment to finding solutions to the world’s most urgent medical problems. Dr. Gausche-Hill was cited for her research, teaching, and implementation of pathbreaking work in the areas of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Emergency Medical Services.
