• 2012 Core Content of Medical Toxicology

    The Core Content of Medical Toxicology (Core Content) was developed in 2003 and serves as the basis for the content specifications for all examinations developed by the Medical Toxicology Subboard. This group consists of content experts and representatives from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, the American Board of Pediatrics, and the American Board of Preventive Medicine for the subspecialty of Medical Toxicology.

    PLEASE NOTE! The 2012 Core Content of Medical Toxicology will be the basis for Medical Toxicology certification and cognitive expertise examinations beginning in 2014.

    The Medical Toxicology Subboard endorses the 2012 Core Content in its current version. However, the Subboard's endorsement does not extend to future documents resulting from this original work.
