ABEM Selects First Members of Resident Ambassador Panel

ABEM has selected the inaugural members of its Resident Ambassador Panel. They are Haig K. Aintablian, M.D.; Alaa M. Aldalati, M.D.; and William Spinosi, D.O. Panel members will provide a resident perspective to certain ABEM activities, such as applying for certification, the Residency Visitation Program, and the ABEM website. Panel members will serve two-year terms beginning July 1, 2020.

Dr. Aintablian is an EM resident in the UCLA Ronald Reagan/Olive View program and plans to undertake fellowship training in health care administration. He is currently the president of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine Resident Student Association. Dr. Aldalati is an EM resident in the Mayo Clinic Graduate Medical Education program. While in medical school in Saudi Arabia, she formed the Growth and Development Committee, which assisted medical students wishing to attend residency programs abroad. She plans to undertake fellowship training in medical education. Dr. Spinosi is an EM resident at Lehigh Valley Health Network, where he holds leadership positions in their Residency Association. He plans to undertake fellowship training in either academic medicine or critical care.
